On the afternoon of January 6, the delegation from the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Supporting Chinese Literature, led by Ms. Lý Kim Thy, Vice President for Educational Affairs, visited, extended New Year greetings, and presented gifts to Chinese language centers that have collaborated with the Association in recent years. Joining the delegation were Mr. Lâm Đại Phú (Hiểu Đông), General Secretary of the Association, and Mr. Trần Vi Kiệt, Secretary.
The delegation visited Văn Lang School, and the Tân Từ Niệm, Vĩnh Xuyên, SHZ, Việt Trung, Lễ Văn, Khải Tú, Trung Nghĩa Centers, the Continuing Education Center, and the Chinese Language Teachers’ Club.
On behalf of the Association’s Executive Committee, Ms. Lý Kim Thy conveyed New Year wishes to the management boards and teachers, wishing them health, happiness, and strength to continue dedicating themselves to the noble mission of nurturing generations of learners.
Representatives of the schools and centers expressed their gratitude to the Association and wished it continued growth and success.
During the visits, Ms. Lý Kim Thy also expressed her desire to receive feedback from teachers to help the Association organize more practical and effective activities to support educators in the future.
Teachers from the centers provided suggestions, with a key focus on the Chinese Language Primary Textbook supported and published by the Association over 20 years ago, which is approved by the Ministry of Education and Training. They recommended that the Association update the textbook to meet the current needs of students.
